Transatlantic Data Flow
In February 2016, the European Commission published the Commission Communication to the European Parliament and Council “Transatlantic Data Flows: Rebuilding Trust through Strong Guarantees,” a draft decision on the level of adequate protection and the axes that constitute the new legal framework for transatlantic exchange of personal data for commercial purposes: the EU-US Privacy Shield, replacing the Safe Harbor Principles invalidated by the Court of Justice of the European Union on October 6, 2015.
In August 2016, the Implementing Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of the Commission of July 12, 2016, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, under Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and Council on the adequacy of the protection provided by the EU-US Privacy Shield.
According to this decision, the United States guarantees an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the European Union to organizations in the United States under the EU-US Privacy Shield, provided that these entities process personal data in accordance with a strong set of principles and guarantees for the protection of privacy and personal data equivalent to those in the European Union.
We also mention that the stephanhausner.ro website and related pages do not exchange data and/or information with any other state that does not comply with GDPR legislation and/or the EU-US Privacy Shield.
